Legends tell that at times long past the lands of Lendoria were home to a single race, ancenstor to the Humans. However a  great catastrophe took place that sundered the land and caused the Evolution to Men and Meirons.

Men are exactly as we are in appearance and skills. Men were divided many times in their history and fought many civil wars.In the time of False Innocence(predating the modern era by 500 years) they were divided in 15 kingdoms warring amongst themselves except the kingdoms of Tyrsis and Sunreach which were trying to create peace. However 300 years prior to the main story the humans kingdoms of Kaelar and Uturie came under attack by Meirons and Annatar the Great King gathered the 13 kingdoms of Men and created a communion named the Alliance of the Pure to battle the threat. Men have been in war with Meirons ever since. Humans this era tend to be quite diverse, from pure fanatics and warmongers to true and noble heroes.

Meirons are humanoid animals(or more correctly humanoids with animal features) that inhabit the landmass of Ularie. They are united under the banner of the Canite Korithos, High Chief of the Meirons. Meirons are divided in subgroups such as Felinars, Canites, Hawkes and Primas and each group futures even a greater number subgroups. Worthy of note of the subgroups are Tigrans, Leonars and Kattas from Felinars, Huskars and Gerans from Canites. Hawkes and Primas are unique in that they are a large subgroup that gained group status. Meirons are generally honorable, brace and compassionate but there are exceptions of course as always.

Because of the hatred that exists between Humans and Meirons, facts have been disorted in misconceptions about each races lives. Humans believe Meirons are doing blood sacrifices, that they train their children for war since young age and that they dont have any notion of honor or compassion
To Meirons Humans are dishonorable , chaotic and untrustworthy, and each humans objective in life is to destroy other lives so he can improve his own.

Beyond these races Lendoria has recently been visited by beings outside its Dimension. These beings were called Darkspawns and there were true monsters in form. Where they came of and for why was a great mystery for many years and only in the War of Chaos did the peoples of Lendoria learn of those dynasts.
