Name: Erana Serath Race: Tigran Sex: Female Alignment: Good Nickname: Tigress Class: Former Warrior/ Current Paladin(Knight of the Grail) Erana Serath is one of the most celebrated heroes of the modern times. A prominent member of the Six and their leader for a time, Erana's adventures are recounted in every home and hearth. She was born to Linarin and Kyle Serath, Leaders of the Tigrans in the Age of Strife. 4 years after her birth she and her parents were caught in a devasasting ambush by Human troops. Linarin was killed while she tried to protect her daughter and Erana would have suffered the same fate. However ,as luck would have it, a knight came close to her and saw her bleeding and crying. He felt pitty for her and against his companions better wishes he healed the young Tigran. Too scared to react Erana watched in great anxiety as the knights were looking at her. However the older of the two knights removed his cape and placed it on her to protect her from the cold. Moments later Kyle rushed down to save his daughter only to find the strange human caring for her. He stopped and bowed to the human asking his name. The knight smiled and answered that he was Barathir, Highlord of the Knights of Dawn and that he was sorry that his men killed the child's mother. Kyle looked the knight in his eyes and told him that both sides had commited crimes that could be avoided. While Barathir was shouted by another knight, Grand Crusader Miralin as it would prove, he made no move against the two Tigrans. Erana and her father,Kyle, left the valley that day with a great confusion in their heads. Erana returned to the Felinar Kingdom of Minternia, where she was rised and greatly cared by both her father and the King of Meirons. As she grew up she became very beautifull amongst their people and very skilled in warfare personal and tactical. She passed with great success the School of Warriors and was promoted with Honors to Captain as she reached the age of maturity. Not a year had passed in her rank that she learned from her spies that the knight who had saved her years ago, Barathir, was disgraced in his kingdom and facing execution. These news had come at quite a shock in the human settlements as Barathir was a great hero and considered the noblest of knights. Persuading her father to repay the favor, a force assembled and marched against the city of Karadoc, the Kingdom of King Menelaos. The sight of the army caused great panic in the city, enough panic to allow Erana and a small raid force to enter the city and rescue the unjustly charged knight. She asked Barathir to trust and follow her outside, and to her suprise, the knight wholeheartedly agree. During the march backwards she learned that Barathir was quite suprised by her father all those years ago. He begun to doubt the hate towards them and that doubt was made a certainity when the knight entered secretely a city to find a cure for the Black Death that had affected his son 4 years ago. Entering the city Barathir saw Meirons for what they truly were, people with everyday anxieties fears and hopes with just a different skin. This was enough for him to enter the tomb of Markon the Great and learn the sad truth of this war. He found the proof that the war was not truly what it was, but the act of entering the tomb sealed his fate. He was disgraced and sentenced for execution. However their return home was not as they had expected it. Early snowfall had blocked the passages of the mountains and the expedition force was trapped. The Human Force coming from the east found them near the Valley of Memories and braced itself for the charge. That would never come. At the same time the forces of both Humans and Meirons came under attack by some unknown and terrible creatures. Facing the danger of anihilation Barathir managed to persuade them to unite and fight back. Erana came at the leadership of the Meirons and Miralin the cavarly. On the head of the Paladins, Knights of Dawn, was Barathir. The battle was fierce and lasted many hours. The darkspawns were defeated, and both armies were saved total anihilation. But tragedy struck both sides that day. Barathir had fallen in battle with the Darkfiend general. In the coming days Erana and her honor guard attained the burial ceremony of the great knight. For the first time in hundreds of years a Meiron attended a human social event. It was there also that she came into contact with Esperion, son of Barathir, who had just recently been accepted and knighted as Shield-bearer of the Silver Dawn.
